About the site: Medical electrical equipment (MEE) are, by nature, hazardous equipment. Their interaction with human beings is done in such a way that the risk of a hazardous situation is much higher than the risks found in other types of equipment.

Safety standards are used to ensure that minimum safety requirements are incorporated in equipment during the design process and equipment life-cycle and are also used in the conformity assessment process to verify that these requirements have been met.

Information about this subject in the Internet is scarce and spread. Therefore, the object of this website is to provide such information as a way to fill this gap.
